Praha

My first time visiting Prague was a great success. The city is stunning and there is so much life here. We made friends with the reception team at our hostel and also made several friends with other guests. This was the greatest hostel experience thus far. One of the employees just got done living in KC for two years and loves it there. Again, what a small world! We took an hour long train ride to Kutna Hora to visit the Sedlec Ossuary. This amazing church is completely decorated floor to ceiling with human bones; huge chandeliers, streamers made of skulls, and big piles of leg bones in every corner. A creepy incredible work of art worth the train ride. Our last night in town happened to be the annual St John's Festival. The whole city lined the river to watch a parade of hundreds of people in traditional Czech clothing waving Palm leaves and singing. The river was full of boats and gondolas, people were parachuting from airplanes, and the buildings were lit up with different colors. What a great way to end a weekend in Prague.
